Established around 2007, Antap Eatery was actually a
hawker stall run by the MJ's family before it was formally known as the
top notch restaurant here in Sarawak. It was located near the Miri
International Airport (MIA) before it was relocated at the top of Miri,
the Canada Hill.
After years of recipe experimenting through all trials and errors, the man who is passionate of making it all happen, Mr. MJ finally realize it was the time for the family business to step into the next level where an eatery was made to satisfactory.
Located at No 7, District 2, Canada Hill, 98000, Miri, Sarawak, this eatery is named Antap Eatery or known as Miri’s Secret Garden by the locals (because of it’s hidden location, on top of the Canada Hill next to the Miri Petroleum Museum)
On top of Miri’s peak with spectacular view of the city itself and the horizon of the South East China sea. It is also very near to the Miri Petroleum Museum (5 minutes walk by foot).
The location of the eatery is quite hidden in a special built garden which implifies it’s trademark of stirring the style of urban-traditional sarawakian and minimalistic concept
(known by the locals as Miri’s Secret Garden)
Until today, the eatery has becoming one of the famous family dine-in spot in Miri and not only guested by the locals but also being a hot spot for the foreigners as well.
